The Meta Trak VTS tracker is unique in that it offers a system with driver recognition tags as standard. It will also alerts in the event of the vehicle being moved without the engine running (this is sometimes referred to as a geo-fence or movement alert) or if the battery is tampered with or disconnected. The Meta Trak VTS tracker can be further enhanced with the addition of remote immobilisation or you could simply ask for the Metatrak Deadlock instead. (This is not included in the initial price and would incur a further charge)

The Meta Trak VTS system will alert and trigger both a phone call from the Secure Operating Centre, as well as a 'push' notification from your app, under the following circumstances: If the vehicle is towed away, put on the back of a low loader or moves in any way without keys in the ignition. If the battery is disconnected suddenly or most importantly If your vehicle is driven without the automatic driver recognition cards present.

The Meta VTS uses secure 868Mhz driver tags which can't be key scanned or key cloned meaning if a thief carries out the common / well known relay attack the Meta VTS will remain working and alert the call centre if the vehicle is being driven without the tags. Meta are the largest car GPS tracking provider in the world meaning you get a tracking system that is extremely well made in Italy and it uses more satellites than any other tracking brand.

The first years subscription comes with the unit free of charge. After the first year its £169.95 a year.

      The MetaTrak S5 VTS also features a mobile smartphone app which allows you to view vehicle location, view routes taken on previous trips, and you can view battery voltage. This gives you the quickest notification if your vehicle is being stolen by key cloning or key scanning methods.
